Daddy's 'Big' Boy

Since daddy has to go for his official travel, then his son was in charge to replace him accompanying his mom on our neighbour's wedding party invitation. Hamzah? Yup! Wasn't he too small? Yes! But he did it very well.
We just stood in the line of the couples who had to welcome the guests. Not more than fifteen minutes, the lil boy started to show his mom that it's not his job actually.  Kids will be kids.  Besides, he might had been disturbed by aroma of tekwan.  Two bowls of tekwan could be taken as a proof.  Btw, it was lunch time, guys! The best part was two cups of ice cream which he enjoyed with all his heart after the tekwan so mommy could welcome the guests without any obstacles.  As long as the boy focused on the cups, then everything was under control.
Two cups of ice cream seemed enough for a while.  He turned to enjoy the party by arranging some empty chairs beneath the tent, jumping on the grass, counting the motorcycles parked near the spot, talking to balloons with the characters of marsha, and putting some after-used ice cream cups and tekwan bowls in a green big basket. He did let the sweat wetting his batik shirt.  What a busy Sunday!
It was about four hours we were there and it was amazing.  Four hours in a party together with a three-year old boy was really really something.  When his eyes sent a message of tiring, it was a sign to go on the stage, to congratulate the happy bride and groom, and their parents as well.  Time to go home now.  Thank you for your company, Hamzah. We had so much fun, right?

Sampai Jumpa, Angga

Rambutnya basah. Jelas ia sedang tidak begitu sehat. Pun begitu, setiap kata, senyum, dan deraian tawanya tetap menyegarkan. Kami saling memohon maaf. Ia berbicara sambil merangkul maminya.  "Uni, maafkan Angga lahir batin ya, Ni. Insyaallah kita nanti ketemu di Jambi,"ucapnya sembari melambaikan tangan gempalnya.  "Iya. Uni tunggu, ya." "Insyaallah, Ni,"pungkasnya sebelum ia menepi dan membiarkan maminya berbicara. Sapa, maaf, dan tawa mengalir ke satu-persatu pasukan Pakis 74.  "Uni, bisakan kami nginap di ru

The Women with Beatific Smiles

My world was filled with thousand of rainbows' colors when I saw those beatific smiles that night. I learn much from these women.
